Details of the issue I play on a laptop. I can connect and play on the server at work through their wireless but I cannot connect from home through my ISP, except occasionally and not at all the past 2 days.
 
If the game works on the same computer at work but not at home, then the issue isn't the game it self - you then have some issues at your home, either faulty hardware, some configuration that's bad or an ISP that blocks stuff.

Start by checking your connection, perhaps a reset of your router and/or talk to your ISP.
 
I tried CenturyLink first, they told me it's an unsupported software issue and contact the manufacturer. I guess I go back to Comcast.
 
It may be something very simple, like the firewall settings of your PC or router just being a tad too strict.
