Buildcraft wrench

The build-craft wrench doesn't seem to work on engines, I've only tried it on Stirling engines though.
Any fix for this, I can work around it but it looks poopy

As far as i know you don't need wrenchs for engines.

You woldn't happen to be using the dark orange IC2 wrench that's made by placing 5 bronze in a Y shape?

Both the grey buildcraft wrench and the brownish forestry wrench turns engines just fine for me.
Are you sure the engine have anywhere else to turn? It will only turn to another block capable of accepting BC power, so if you want it to turn in a certain direction you will have to place down a block that accepts BC power there first.

I think you need to connect it to a wooden conductive pipe.

Golden conductive pipe doesn't accept BC power, it only transfers it, try placing a wooden conductive pipe or some sort of machine requiering BC power.
