Details of the issue:
Whenever I open an Achievement book or a Witchery book, random pages seem to be blackened, but in the case of the Achievement book, the characters of random pages are blackened, and marking them shows them. I can't read most of the Witchery books due to this, and the achievement book is really hard to read. There seems to be a white outline around the actual books when I open them up, so I think it's a texture error.​
 
If you are wearing Draconic armor then remove it temporarily. Unfortunately there is no fix because it is a mod issue not a pack issue. It happens with vanilla mc books as well.
