Blood Magic is great! Blood Magic is amazing! Blood Magic is also fairly useless on FTB servers when it comes to offensive spells outside of the Arsenal addon, and even then not even close to touching some of the other mods. Great spells that could be considered offensive in the complex trees are my current complaint - and it's a glaring one at that. How come most spells that would work out GREAT (wind offensive/defensive where the spell is supposed to fling enemies away) only work on mobs?! I don't really see the use of flinging pigs miles away, when I could sooner laser-mine them. For the love of god why this lack of foresight? Is there a config option, or is this really only limited to mobs?

Probably done on purpose to prevent trolling. Didn't think Blood Magic was focused on pvp.

Most items are configurable VIA config, so you could easily negate that issue with config options. Even with that in mind, however, there are still rituals that are aimed at draining blood from players, spells that explode people, set them on fire, and literally call lightning down on people. It's a little stupid to suddenly draw the line at using wind to beat someone away from you.

Are you sure those spells where designed for attacking players? Or just coincidentally affecting them.
As for the rituals ill have to take your word on that. I remember something on a DW forgecraft series about blood pacts, that seem to act like witchery rituals but for blood magic.
The lack of player knockback might actually be a technical limitation.
