Unix Black Screen after launch

I'm Running Linux with Ubuntu, I recently updated to 13.10. I'm using Openjdk Java 7 runtime. After the FTB symbols my screen goes black and minecraft doesn't launch, I would like help with this as i don't know whats the problem.

Then if someone could tell me how to transfer from pastebin to this without making one huge long post for the console.

I have the package installed, on Linux it doesn't give the program it gives you a package. How do i make the package usable? The black screen is still happening.[DOUBLEPOST=1382319349][/DOUBLEPOST]This is what the ftb console says,

we have the same issue after upgrading to ubuntu 13.10
the suggested actions did not help
trying to downgrade to 13.04

Back to 13.04 - working from the start.
(great - show me another OS that installs withing an hour )

After a long time of struggling I finnally figured out how to update the lwjgl and now I feel incredibly dumb since it was so easy to do and I didnt realize how to do it. Thank you all!
