Details of the issue Roughly 10 of us have been playing Beyond 1.8.0 for 2 weeks now without experiencing any issues.
We're all at a stage where we have some basic AE2/RS systems with no automation yet, a couple of people have got some Immersive Engineering automation going but that's about it and a couple of others have RFTools builders quarrying in the mining dimension which we've agreed to only power on when we're online.
Over the past few days we've been experiencing a fair bit of block lag and rubber banding when walking/flying. This has coincided with a proportionate quantity of instances of the following error in the server console:
[00:28:16] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 89947ms behind, skipping 1798 tick(s)
At some times we were getting this warning multiple times per minute, and if you notice that's no small lag. That's 89s of lag in that specific instance of the error.
As well as these lag issues, we have also been experiencing regular disconnections which result in us not being able to log back in unless we restart the server but the latest disconnection has left us all unable to login. The latest server crash log is attached and available at the following URL: http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/4ba89b7c
We have tried restoring a back-up from 24 hours earlier, with no improvement.
Existing server specs:
Intel E3-1240v2 @ 3.8GHz
6GB DDR3 RAM
We have also tried (as a last gasp effort to play) a better server, specs below:
Intel i7-7700K @ 5GHz
6GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM
Both servers have produced the exact same issues, at the moment we can login but within about 10s of logging in we get kicked and the server dies with the attached fatal error.
Any help from anyone with more experience reading the server errors would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
