First thing first, if you couldnt tell from the Title, we are using the Beta Pack on a SMP world

So I have built myself a few cars now and im trying to figure out how best to get the farms going.
5 Carts are set up like this..
Standard Hull, Solar Engine, Farmer, Fertilizer, Side chests, Internal Storage x3, Colorizer.

I am in an eternal day world - Forest world. I have a World Anchor set this Mist World is always loaded, atleast the 9 chunks around the portal. 1 chunk is dedicated to barrels which will be changed to crystal chests once i get around to it because they can stack like barrels and hold I think a hair more.

What i want to do is something like this..
forest - forest - forest -forest - forest - forest - forest
forest- empty - empty - empty - empty -empty - forest
forest- storage- Wheat - Wheat - Wheat - empty - l forest
forest- storage - portal - Wood - Carrots - empty - forest
forest- storage- Potato - Potato - Potato - empty - forest
forest- empty - empty - empty - empty - empty - forest
forest - forest - forest -forest - forest - forest - forest

I understand how to lay the tracks for the various fields to get them all squared away and growing.
What i need to know is what is the most efficent way to get the good from the various cargo loaders over to the storage area so i dont have to run to the various cargo loaders. The empty chunks i believe are the border of the chunks that are loaded by the world anchor. am i correct in that the Anchor does it + two "circles" of chunks around it?

On the outskirts i will need a ton of pipes to sort things but i would sorta love to use other carts to move things from the various cargo loaders to the storage areas.

So really what im looking for is not soo much a spotlight, but a how to on signialing? or what carts i carts i would need to do to get this working right. Am actually thinking of moving everything to a fast time or what not world so the crops grow quicker. Im not good at all with piping and auto sorting, next to no experience with it. Ive spent the past couple days while breeding my bees in the meadow/desert world ive got for them watching all kinds of youtube vids on factorization, rails, sorting, ect. The steves carts wiki is kinda lacking in the info i need so im coming here as i know alot of you have far far more experience then I in this sorta stuff. Like i have said in other posts, i have no real experience in any of the mods in the pack. with the exception of IC2 in SSP CSP modes, And no experience with vanilla redstone power beside following some tutorials for a big mob spawner (the one with the water flowing to the center and 4 triangular platforms with water pushing the mobs off the spawner pads down to a crusher X blocks below) and a working protaculis(sp). So any and ALL advice would be greatly appriceated.

I am a much more visual person. If you could snap a screenshot of what you have that would be great.

Sure thing, I am thinking a transport rail system underneath your farms or even use the working carts you have move the materials around and use the cargo managers to offload them. I am not super versed on cargo managers as of yet but they seem decent enough

I haven't yet delved into as much stuff as I'd like, but I think Railcraft Item Loaders might work with them. Set up perhaps an underground cart system with generic Storage Carts and Railcraft rails to shuttle the goods.

There are five pictures in that bucket.

But on the image that you can see the glass thing leading underground, thats west, you can see the crude carrot farm, four of the cargo managers and the start of the wheat lines.

Next image facing north you can see the middle of the lines for wheat and a couple of the farmers.
Next image facing north-east-ish you can see the end of the wheat lines.
Next image facing east-south-east-ish you can see the world anchor and both the tree farm and crude potatoe farm.
Last image facing south-ish you can see the rubber tree farm that we have going here. Storage barrels, portal out.

New Plan after looking at things from above is to shape the carrot and potato farms to be each 2 chunks big extending southwards from their current locations with a couple of rows simular to the wheat fields in the first three screenshots. The rubber tree farm is going to be removed as its been negated by a forestry arboretium/logger/tapper system on the Overworld. Just havnt gotten around to it just yet. Too many projects and not enough hands to do it.. Will be done today.

Do you need any more information/screen shots?

EDIT: will be adding multiple tree farms as well, all within three chunks, where it is currently and 2 south of it, to cover Spruce, Oak and Birch, which is what we use for our city build.

Ok I think your best bet here would be another cart, probably the middle tier one, iron cart.... with some storage and a tiny coal engine or whichever power source you prefer. Lay some new track starting from the managers at the top of the screen in the beginning of the video and have it visit each manager loading the carts storage from whichever color of the manager is facing it.

You will probably need the cart to go underground and come back up to get to some of your managers. At your storage area put a cargo manager and have it pull everything from the cart and pipe out of the manage to your storage containers with whichever sorting system you prefer. The two end managers just change the pathing when done from "continue" to "return" so you don't have to make a continuous loop of track

I can make a video of a small setup which should give you the general idea
