Being disconnected with Internal Exception

Details of the issue So, it all started right after I died in the nether - I was teleported to the main world's spawn (which is normal, because I died), and then after a few seconds I was disconnected and it says "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".

I have tried re-installing the modpack, switching accounts and re-starting my internet, but nothing has helped. Every time I log in, after a few seconds I am kicked with the same message of "Connection Lost".

Some things to note:
- I cannot type in chat
- I can use commands such as /home but can't see myself being teleported, but when re-logging in after being kicked I'll be at my home, before being kicked again
- Sometimes it seems i'm floating in void before chunks begin to slowly appear, before getting kicked
- My friend says that I join multiple times, e.g. It will say "Tomp13 joined" on multiple lines.
- This has not happened before.
