Backdating

Hello everyone,
I am hosing a FTB server and playing with my friend. I updated FTB and can't connect to the server because the server mods are too old. I was wondering if it was possible to backdate versions or if the new server is coming out. If it is not possible to backdate I think it would be a great idea to add that
