What options are there for sorting bees according to species, etc. in MC 1.10.2?

with computercrafts turtles you can check the name of an item and route accordingly. I believe there is a build for mc 1.10

Oh, I do have Computercraft! I'll have to try that. What command gives the name of an item? IIrc, the "turtle.inspect()" gives the item ID, which is the same for all Princesses/Drones/Queens.

sorry, I was wrong.
I quickly looked at the the docs when I wrote that and saw that turtle.getItemDetail() returns a name but thinking about it pretty sure that returns its id as its instead. (Why they call it name is beyond me, pretty sure it always tripped me up when I want to use it.)
It also returns its damage value and the amount in a slot. Though, I believe that both of those are useless :(

Maybe an addon for CC can help? pretty sure that open peripherals has a way to get the real name of an item in an inventory.

If you are dealing with stackable bees you may be able to make a vanilla item sorter

Well, what I want to do is have a bunch of bees randomly breeding in apiaries to get mutants, but I need a way to send the Wintry princesses to the apiaries in a cold biome, the Mundane bees to a normal biome and so on. I just need a way to identify between "Wintry Princess", "Meadows Princess", etc. Dang I miss that Apiarist's pipe.
