Automatic switching on/off on engine/energy cell setup

So, coming back to minecraft after a hiatus. Trying to learn how to use redstone energy cells to store MJ. I have a setup with a few magmatic engines and some sterling engines, but want to automatically turn them off when the energy cell is full. Is this possible? I cannot find a redstone output on the energy cell, which is why I ask.

Redstone Energy Cells don't have redstone output options. You'll need a logic gate on a structure pipe next to the cell to detect whether energy's full.
 
Ouch, that makes it a fair bit too expensive for my meager diamond count. Thanks for the help!
 
T'is no problem! But I'd recommend investing in an assembly table anyway. Great help for getting into Applied Energistics and GregTech, since the circuits are much cheaper than AE's and IC2's.
