Hey,
I am working on a new project and what it basically does is, you specify the item you want(for example a machine) and it will craft it for you(having acces barrels with the items necessary). I was trying it with wireless turtles and crafty turtles and it works but you need to program every single recipe. So I'm wondering if there already excists a file with all the recipes in it or is there maybe a better way of doing this.

Thanks,

As far as I know Applied Energistics has autocrafting capabilities, but I haven't messed around with it yet, so I don't know how hard it is to set up.

AE Autocrafting isn't hard to set up. It's just... resource-intensive. I'm not too sure on many specifics, but for most recipes, it should just be a case of imprinting a recipe on a Blank Pattern, and then inserting the resulting pattern into your molecular crafting chamber.

AE crafting is pretty easy as soon as you make the crafting multiblock structure which is pretty expensive but you can always make a small one and then expand it later and is incredibly simple to actually use simply requesting stuff from the access terminal and you can even set it up to process things if it needs them so you can tell it if you want to make a carbon plate to actually send some coal to the macerator to make coal dust then craft that to the plate.

Too bad the server is running on mindcrack, I guess ill just wait for mindcrack to add that mod or the logisctic pipe mod.

Yeah for me adding in the recipes for auto crafting HV solars including making some of the raw materials from UU Matter only took about half a page so you do get plenty of space.

without AE, you could take a look on xycrafts autocrafting table. it's not as convenient as AE, but there are some neat features.

it wont be a fully automated system as with AE, but it automatically crafts needed items. and programming it is fairly simple. set up the table, open the GUI, open the object you want to craft in NEI. hit the ?-button. and your crafting table knows the recipe.

and since xycraft machines rely heavily on xycraft materials (which are useless for other mods), they are really cheap...
