Windows .exe Armor taking up whole screen, autodropping

I don't know what I've done but I seem to have really annoyed the game. My armor is taking up the whole screen like so when I open my inventory.

Also, I'm getting that when you click on an item it just instantly drops instead of letting you move it bug, and the usual fixes like hitting alt, alt-tab-clicking, and even closing and reopening minecraft aren't fixing it.

This happened while I was trying to look up carbon cells in NEI so I think I caused it by pressing some combination of C A R and B, but those buttons aren't fixing it now.

What have I done?

The only changes I made to the modpack were adding gregtech and dimensional doors, and removing hats, tinkers construct, and dartcraft. So... probably not? I guess?

As I said. Unleashed +gregtech +dimension doors -dartcraft -hats -tstruct

I got it working by downgrading a version and then upgrading again but I'd still like to know what I did to get its panties in a bunch.

I only ask questions that are relevant, telling me the same information without attempting to answer my questions is no help at all.
