Hello ^^

Playing around in my old Unhinged world.. (yes I know.. but dammit I like my world) and I was looking in my applied energistics setup.,. and I have a ton of industrial electrolyzers setup to handle all the different kinds of dust (one dust per machine) and I was wondering the following:

since most dusts need a specific amount to actually start the operation is it possible for the network to check, ok I got so many bauxite dust I will run one load of that, ok now I got so much ruby dust I can run that. Without having one machine per. Not that I mind as such but it is starting to fill up the room I have set up for it and I was wondering if it can be made easier (mostly thinking in advance for the update with channels and such).

Did that make sense?

Linda

I dont see how level emitters will help with my problem, it will send a signal to the export bus yes.. but it wont tell the bus which of the materials to export. so i still need one electrolyzer per dust.. or am i missing something? :(

So you want the dust to be processed when you have a full stack? Hmm. Ive wondered myself if theres a way to make an ME system do something based on how much of a specific item I already have (like trash it) but I dont know how. Some item in the game that holds onto items til theres a full stack. Gated pipes can do that, cant they?

Well I would like to have one machine be able to process more then one type of dust. and.. hmm yeah pipes.. I can use level emitters to have the dust basically sent into a pipe that takes it to the machine! yes that should work! so have the level emitters tell the dust to move when i have x amount, then pull it into the machine through the pipe. that solves the problem of running out of space to put buses around the machine.

thanks ^^ that got my brain working.. *rushes to see if this work

edit: yupp that works. thanks epi for giving me the idea :)
