Windows .exe Apiaries causing massive lag

I just started producing some apiaries today, and they're massively lagging the server. Since I haven't had them until after the latest patch I'm not sure if it is causing it or not.

Destroying the apiaries returns the server to a lag free environment. Is this happening to anyone else?

never heard about apiaries causing lag, did you just have the apiaries or a certain automation on them aswell?
