Anyone aiming to make a new mod pack similar to the latest Direwolf 20 pack except without Astral Sorcery for those of who like to play with shaders?

If I may ask, why don't you remove the mod yourself if it's incompatible? It's easy enough to do with the Twitch launcher, as long as you unlock the profile you should be fine.

I prefer to play multiplayer. I've attempted to run servers in the past with little success and I know if someone develops a mod pack for 1.12 without Astral Sorcery, someone who is a little more skilled at running a server will most likely pick it up. And those of us who like to play with shaders will find our way to it.
