Hello! So I have had an idea for a type of server that I think would be neat, but I wanna see if anyone else here has an opinion or tips. I have never run a server before, and I suspect my idea has holes, but if you think it has merit or issues I'd love to hear your opinion on it. So my idea is a heavily modded Minecraft Earthmap Towny Server. I quite enjoy playing Earthmap geopolitical servers, but I see that just about all of them are vanilla or vanilla with sprinkles, and I have yet to see one with a strong modpack. I have a whole heap of mods I think would be neat, and although I don't have a single theme for it, I think with enough large mods and a well-designed map, it could work well. Mods like Fossils and Archeology, Galacticraft, Tech mods, The Aether, mob mods, biome mods, etc. I am sure there is a lot to learn and a lot of issues with this, but if you guys have any feedback and/or are willing to answer some questions then it would be much appreciated!
