Agrarian skies: Not saving my world?

I've played Agrarian skies a few times and realized it kept on rolling back to the same save every time. It saved only my inventory and where I am, not the world. I tried just saving and going back in directly and it still rolled back. Any idea on what it could be? Should I just restart? (On the rollback I have I am not very far)

YES SOMEONE HELP. I'VE PUT HUNDREDS OF HOURS ONTO THIS MAP AND NOW THIS IS HAPPENING.

you can do something with the level.dat files, look up vanilla mc wiki

Do you have any more information on how to fix this? I have the exact same issue and cannot find an answer anywhere as far as I can find out your the only person to find a solution.
