i'm still pretty noob at AE, but i was wondering if there was a block like a tesseract for AE to export/import into/out of. Or do i have to wire all the way from the one i have in my base?
if youve set up a remote AE system, you will probably have to:
A: build a quantum bridge. expensive and eats power like nobodys business. the "official" wireless transmission.
B: carry the drive with you between the networks. dont die.
C: wire all the to your base (ick) lots of cable, power, you have to chunkload ALL of it. hello lag.
D: set an export bus into an enderchest or item tesseract, import bus on recieving end. may have issues keeping up with something like a quarry.
A and D require both ends of the link being chunkloaded. (good idea to have your main base loaded at all times anyway, and you can load other by babysitting)
C needs the whole path. impractical for long stretches.
