Ok not sure where else to ask this so gonna ask here...

Why does a quarry (a Buildcraft item) require a diamond drill (an IC2 item) in the recipe?

as Jump said its gregtech, gregtech adds alot of awesome endgame machines and changes some recipes to balance things some so you cant make some things the first day you play. Some ppl dont like it I personally Love gregtech I don't want everything to be super easy, I like a challenge.

Each person has there own playstyle tho.

Oh well, I was afraid it would be GregTech. I might as well get used to it. /sigh. Heh if I have to I can always find some other way to mine. There are at least 4 ways to mine with this pack... A quarry, a miner, manually with a pick or drill or even magically with a Wand of Excavation. So not like I don't have options.

RP2 tunnel bore, TC3 arcane bore, vanilla tnt mining(ftw), IC2 Laser.. highlighted that "at least" for you :p
