So, if anyone here is good at mystcraft, I'd love aid in this.
1. How do I change the basic material of a biome? I want to make a cave complex that is NOT covered in dirt, but rather that is quite pure rock; I just don't know how to do it.
2. When "dark sun" is selected, does that mean that the sky is black too? How would I do to get a "normal" sky during day and night, but without visible sun/moon/stars?
3. Is time tied specifically to the celestial bodies, or is it possible to slow/change time by itself? (other than the accelerated symbol)
4. I made this world:
Void; Single Biome; Mushrom Island Biome; Slow Weather;
Normal Lighting; Dark Stars;
Half Length; Normal Sun; Clear Modifiers;
Half Length; Dark Moon; Clear Modifiers;
Boundless Sky; Red; Night Sky Color; Clear Modifiers;
Yellow; Red; Fog Color; Clear Modifiers;

The sun works normally and is visible but the sky behind the sun is black; why is this?

Thanks a lot for any help!

1. You can use some material modifiers on your terrain generation controller - for example, End Stone, Flat will generate the biome as flat with End Stone in place of dirt. Not all materials are usable this way, though. Stone should work fine.
2. It should remain normal, but I've never actually tried it.
3. Time is directly tied to the celestial bodies unfortunately. Theres an addon to Mystcraft that adds more 'length' symbols.
