Problem 3rd Party Pack - Won't start on server, fine in single player

We use multicraft. This is the result of an attempt to upgrade from kcauldron to thermos.

I have tried multiple versions of forestry (all in the 4.2.x family) with no changes. I've tried changing various configs to remove their connections to forestry, disabling fuel options to do with forestry, and removing minetweaks. I've probably tried other small things but alas I wasn't taking notes like I should have. None have had any effect.
ETA: Just tried deleting and allowing AWWofTime.cfg and Sanguimancy.cfg to rebuild, same result.

At this point I'm fairly certain we've set something up wrong within multicraft, although thermos appears to boot fine. The errors that matter (a couple of them in console, such as the witchery potion out of bounds errors, the AM2 config error, and the usual oredictionary errors are non-fatal) aren't pointing me in any useful directions other than to be investigating forestry.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is Modded: Definitely; Server brand changed to 'thermos,cauldron,craftbukkit,mcpc,kcauldron,fml,forge'
Use a normal forge server or go hunting for the correct kcauldron version for your mods but if you do that you should also accept that weird errors may occur due to kcauldron not being officially supported by pretty much every mod.

As I said, I was switching to thermos. And until buycraft has forge support we're stuck using something to link it in. I'm aware that issues will arise from this, but "stop using it" doesn't help solve things If I knew what the errors I'm getting meant, I could work towards a solution.

The error? Well it is right at the top: cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraftforge/event/FuelBurnTimeEvent
the thing you are using doesn't have the correct file/function that some mods need. Only way to fix it is by using a version of kcauldron that has it or to not use kcauldron.
Oh, and not only foresty is crashing, BOP is as well and maybe more, haven't looked in great detail at the crashing mods yet.
