2013 New YouTube Streamer needs input

I want to stream Feed the Beast or Magic World in 2013.
I am 25 year old American IT Grad who...has trouble finding another IT job, so I might as well start streaming.

I'll be utilizing:
Blue Yeti Microphone
Cyber Power Gaming PC (Upgraded to 16 GB RAM, additional 2 TB Drive, a .5 TB Solid State Drive and a Cyberpower UPS.

However...I would like some suggestions on:

• Should I choose Magic World or Feed the Beast core.
• What texture pack to choose (Sphax?)
• What additional mods to add

I do plan to add:

• Too Many Plants
• Chococraft - Kweh
• Optifine - Makes the game move smoother
• Extended Workbench - Feels Balanced to me, yet to test it out yet.
• In Game NBT Edit - so I can make a hall of fame of subscribers with their heads.
• Ropes+
• Portal Gun Mod (Even if Magic World is chosen, mainly for shenanigans with cross dimension transport of mobs.)

I might add, if people like the idea of

• Tale of Kingdoms - Since I have no one else to play with, might as well play this solo play mod.
• Smart Moving
• Millenaire
• Super Mario Mod
• Divine RPG
• Other mods suggested.
