What is the bug:
I simply crash to desktop whenever I join my friend's server. I get about 1 frame displayed, in which I see the item in my hand, and nothing else, then the entire game closes and the launcher reopens.

I don't know if this is a repeatable bug, as I don't know what's causing it in the first place.
