Version:
2.2.2

What is the bug:
In each of the following pictures, the red wool denotes the source tank and the green wool denotes the destination tank.

---

In these two pictures, insulated wire is placed directly above, and below, fluid conduit, respectively. The fluid is not transferred in either case. Breaking the lever also makes it clear that the cable isn't connecting to the conduit at all:

In this picture, the insulated wire is placed to the side of the fluid conduit, which connects, transferring the liquid correctly:

Having figured that out, I'm not sure item conduits are behaving correctly now either. It seems they won't connect to insulated wires no matter where they're played.

Mod & Version:
EnderIO-1.7.10-2.3.0.421_beta

Paste.feed-the-beast.com log:

Can it be repeated:
Yes. Follow the exact setup in each of the pictures above, using any fluid conduit, and it will produce the same result.

Known Fix:
Unknown

Your main problem is the choice of wire. The insulated wire will not connect to anything from project red. It is designed to transport the signal nothing more. To get the signal in/out you have to use the un-insulated version of the cable at each end of your insulated wire. This was to keep the redstone signal isolated from everything it might pass near.

Thanks for your reply, but I need to use insulated wires, as my real setup, which caused me to find the connecting problem, depends on identifying which coloured channels are active.

Awesome, I didn't realise Ender IO had insulated conduits now. That's a good workaround for me, thank you very much.
