Version:
2.1.0
What is the bug:
There is an issue with Immersive Engineering 0.5.4 that causes a weird power drain when no machines are actually drawing power
Mod & Version:
Immersive Engineering 0.5.4
Paste.feed-the-beast.com log:
Can it be repeated:
While I've been able to reproduce it in multiple instances via multiple methods, it can most easily be reproduced in creative by creating a full capacitor, then linking 3 IC2 compressors up in series via MV wires/connectors; so the capacitor (configured for output) has a connector wired to a connector on compressor 1; that connector has another wire going to a connector on compressor 2; and so on. Once the third compressor is hooked up, you can watch the capacitor to observe that power is being drawn from it even though the machines all have fully charged buffers and are not running. Curiously, adding a 4th compressor stops the drain, but adding a 5th starts it back up again. The setup to reproduce can be seen below.
Known Fix:
The mod author has addressed this issue in the latest version of the mod (I tested with 0.6.1). Updating this mod in the pack seems to resolve the issue entirely.
