[1.5.2 NGT] Fiery Oil Spouts - Safe?

Soeh, I am at the point where I'm gonna start pumping oil and make some fuel. I live outside an oil field, but some lightning struck and now almost all of the spouts are on fire. I was wondering whether it's safe or not to pump an oil spout on fire, lol.

I don't want my tank to explode.

It should be safe to pump, yeah. The block itself isn't changed (unless the fire eats it) and the pumps don't detect the fire.
