Title 1.4.14 not updating to 1.4.15

Details of the issue When i started the launcher i got a little notification saying there was an update for the launcher (from version 1.4.14 to 1.4.15) but when i hit yes to update the launcher it just closed and restarted as the same 1.4.14 launcher giving me the same notification to update to 1.4.15 . So i went online to see what could be done and found a post (https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/launcher-not-updating-properly.1244/) that said i needed to look in a temp folder to find a Jar or Exe and move it to where the launcher folder was located. I couldn't find the Jar or Exe so i need help
