Version:
1.4.1

What is the bug:
I have scowered the internet for a fix to this for the last week and found nothing. I redownloaded java after deleting every java from my computer. Deleted ftb and all of the mod packs then redownloaded them as well.

Every time I launch FTB Inifinity it gets caught at preinitializing the CoFHcore. Java crashes right there and then it goes through looking for a solution before finally closing the program down. What's going on?

Mod & Version:
Infinity 1.6.2

Known Fix:

Try doing some searching the loading screen. I haven't had this issue but I remember some posts about the forge loading screen causing issues on some systems.

  1. [16:09:55] [Client thread/INFO] [STDOUT]: [cpw.mods.fml.client.SplashProgress:start:180]: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ----
  2. // I blame Dinnerbone.

  3. Time: 6/16/15 4:09 PM
  4. Description: Loading screen debug info

  5. java.lang.Throwable
  6. at cpw.mods.fml.client.SplashProgress.start(SplashProgress.java:179)

It's not the loading screen. That's perfectly fine. Also, that other thread is no where near the same issue I am having. Thank you for trying, though :)

In your confing folder, edit the splash.properties and change enabled=true to false.
