What is the bug:
I was playing the modpack and the game crashed

Can it be repeated:
I have had the game crash multiple times after playing for awhile. It usually seems to crash when I open an inventory, starting the game up again and trying to open the same inventory happens without a problem.

Opening the world back up

Try uninstalling Java 8 and use Java 7 instead. I've read quite a few reports of issues with Java 8.

I would do that, but the entire reason I switched to Java 8 was because java 7 was also causing issues

I am also running into this issue. On java 7, after playing for a while the world gets laggy and rendered unplayable. After switching to Java 8, problem seems to be going away but the game crash after a while with this log.

Yes, for me Java 7 made it unplayable but prolonged play with Java 8 will cause a crash to desktop. I've heard this was due to a deprecated permgen argument. In other words, this pack and I'd say Minecraft are not optimized for Java 8 yet.

Do you guys have Fastcraft, and have you updated Aroma Backup to the newer, less bugged version?
