Just tried placing Seared Tank in creative flat world and it worked with no issues. Only differences that I know of from default 1.0.1 pack that I'm running are fastcraft, fpsplus, expanded redstone, rotarycraft, chromaticraft, practicalities, ender zoo and random things. Using Opis instead of Journeymap, but it looks like you're doing that anyway.

Anyhow, no crash here.

I found the problem for both of my reports. For whatever reason, Optifine 1.7.10 L A4 causes crashes when you try to place a seared tank. I removed it and now it works just fine.

@Captainnana Would it be possible to post something at the top of this forum stating that they should only report bugs for unmodified versions of the pack?
