How about the news from Twitter ? Like "We are locking Unstable 1.8 and will promptly start development of Unstable 1.9". Are moders already updating mods to 1.9 if they are just releasing mods for 1.8 ?

Can someone tell me under what .jar is "hidden" Map Writer mod ? Reason, why i am asking for is, i want to disable it and use other map mod to test something. Ty.

You must be really naive person to believe in this statement. Sure they will not change for now until dust calms down. But later, in next few years, they can still flip the switch. Like they did with Xbone (first they were saying that you need internet to use Xbone, 1 week later they were saying...

For me it a beauty to discover all these mod (i personally played DW20 pack) and i played MC in my own way. I don't like the idea to separated mods in magic and tech just because i like Thaumcraft and Ars Magica which will be really shame not to see in those packs. My hopes (for my play style)...

The only magic mod i want with combination of tech mods is Thaumcraft. Can i hope for that combination or not ? Because i recently noted that Monster pack is better than DW20 pack (DW20 pack do not contain Gendustry, Monster pack do). But this will be hard for me to choose proper pack for me...

Not in the Overworld ... maybe in Deep Dark but there could be a problem with amount of gold ... even if you use Factorizations for doubling ore.

I challenging you to replicate this in survival mode (in SSP, local pc without server). I really want to see how much time will take you to grind mats for this. Probably months.

I really didn't know that Factorization can go with TE. But yea, i prefer solar power over cali burners (they are also a bit anoying when they are in om nom nom mode), i really didn't have much trouble to find bunch of silver to do solar plant.

I really don't like Curse Client idea just because it is yet another thing to install + register (and you don't have control over it ... don't give you an option to install any other disk/folder) to use it at all. For now it is quite easy because i need only Mojang account. If there will be FTB...
