The only way to get a squid from my experience was to used Philosopher's Stone. To change other animals to a squid. This was after looking all over my world,to not find any squid.

You can put it into the alloy smelter,Ender IO..and you get only nuggets. basically you need 9 to make ingot.

This properly confuse alot of people. I think I understand what you need to do. But some1 need do simple tutorial on steps. do it right.. Only move the Dim (aka Spatial area) you Haven't explore. Yet. But I have explore Biosphere, is Biosphere^4 different Dim. meaning later on in pack.

There also Botania. where you have mana pool, with enough mana you get leather from rotten flesh. But that prob for short-term, since you need have steady supply of mana filling up pool for the task..But still another approach. Note : you need a Alchemy Catalyst ,for the task.
