cofh core can flatten bedrock, it has a config for it in config/cofh/core/common.cfg. Under the "world {" section.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

For ssp, I'd just use MultiMC to be honest. 1: nope, the minecraft client runs its own invisible server when you play singleplayer anyway, so you only need to configure one minecraft instance - your client. 2: I can't remember the default world name off the top of my head, but its probably just...

The save-all server command should do that, I believe. Edit: From the wiki:

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

That's nice and all, but since a mana tablet or mana band lasts for absolutely ever using only the sash, it doesn't really make much difference. The mana cost itself isn't really a big deal. Why would I carry around a mana tablet? inventory space is so precious. I guess everyone just got used...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Been away for around a year, noticing a few changes and remembering a few that I was still adjusting to last time I played. The one I'm dealing with now is the Botania sojourners sash, since it started requiring mana it needs a ring slot or inventory slot... I'm wondering if there's some other...

    Building new PC: Feedback appreciated

I've been at the PC building game for a while now, being the tech guy in a group of mates :). So I'll offer some perspective. all-in-one liquid cooling options are perfectly fine, there's no manual stuff or cleaning or anything these days. the liquid loop is closed well before you get your...

    Auto refilling the petal apothecary

or, just slap a lever on it near the apothecary, set it up so you turn the lever on when crafting to enable the clicky-clicky refill system... I tend to setup most systems like that, if I'm not using it, and it's not doing anything, turn it off, like actually off.

Really stupid things that people have said about Modded MC(Off topicness makes moderators tired)

I suspect most other mod communities attract a different age group, and different generations. If you see the large portion of minecraft players as a young group (say, < 15) then I don't think it's hard to see where a lot of the kids that come over to the modded community dont share the same...

    FTB News - March 20th, 2015

When I mentioned that comment, it was more about the stigma from an installer than the actual stuff it's putting on the drive. I don't usually bother looking into each individual program that far, so I stick to rules of thumb, and the rule of thumb is In general, programs that require...

    FTB News - March 20th, 2015

I'd say my feedback is about as follows: - I really don't like the idea that to play minecraft I have to login to/create another account (I suppose it uses the MCF account?), even if I'm not using any of the features whatsoever that should require an account (offline mode for the launcher...

Really stupid things that people have said about Modded MC(Off topicness makes moderators tired)

hmm, I must've glossed over it or forgot or somehing. The response is not entirely unexpected... I suspect unless you provide an option for complete removal of all update notifications this'll be the case unfortunately.

Really stupid things that people have said about Modded MC(Off topicness makes moderators tired)

how hard is it to timestamp releases and feed that info into minecraft along with the update check? If you can distinguish between a pack maker and a user by using something similar to Coolsquid's method, then perhaps one way to not bother users of up-to-date packs is to have something like a...

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

I'll have to admit here I think the machine has prospects for being later game fast farming without being very server intensive, for things such as biofuel. Other than that, It doesn't really stack up to current farming systems, since speed is rarely a factor. when speed and server performance...

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

Minetweaker isn't really a good measure of how 'useful' a machine is in and of itself, since using minetweaker changes the entire prerequisites/crafting chain/balance points of the system. Also, you could already do most of this with minetweaker. It has the ability to make the phyto stuff (with...

Really stupid things that people have said about Modded MC(Off topicness makes moderators tired)

I'd call 4a/b/c 'hotfixes', not updates. hotfixes are fast to fix problems. This is how software works. It's a bit baffling that some people are complaining that Reika has been putting out bugfixes fairly quickly and frequently following the release of v4.

Really stupid things that people have said about Modded MC(Off topicness makes moderators tired)

To be fair I'm not sure I'd want people playing on my server that are incapable or unwilling to do some simple drag 'n' drop mod replacing/updating. It's really not that hard to replace a few files guys. It's sad that you used to be able to assume the player's were capable of replacing or...

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

If the system worked as intended then yes, there's no need to load the areas above or below the player. This is all rather academic though. In other discussion, I think NJM1564 might be onto something with the 'next least used block'. In order to set up these things you need to use two...
