I just tested this in my world and the answer is minecraft seems to really dislike you for some reason i get just regular rain maybe try deleteing the direwolf folder and redownloading it other then that idk what to do kinda disappointanted i thought it would be cool to see raining exploding...

you will need to build another one :( sorry this was my mistake the first time i built one also if you do a cargo manager you can set it up to drop off wood extra sapling and then refuel with wood for fuel provided you have enough wood production. happy logging and sorry for your loss
