    That is odd (the mekanism chest) somehow it must still "think" it is protected so there is now way to move it, have you tried in creative?..... For the academy craft i had to use the creative book as well to complete it. As for the log in with no inventory this has happened to me before but...

    You could use more mirrors, or "bend" the system so it stays in range. Another option in any modpack that has automagy is to use the locus with the aggregator.

    I believe the 192 output means the maximum rate that it outputs energy , as in the rate of transferring the energy into whatever it is next to it, that number does not show the energy being generated, i think that is the middle number in the turbine GUI.
