I had the same problem, and I found a workaround : delete the mcheli file in your minecraft/mods folder and deactivate flans mod in the launcher (edit mod pack button). Unfortunately it means not being able to use this mod, but at least you can play until someone finds a fix.

Definitely, I've only started experimenting in Rotary Craft but now that I've seen this epic beast, I can't wait to build it!
