    Quick levelling in Ars Magica 2 ?

    A Touch Dig spell does pretty well if you use it regularly, I use one for anything I can and level up pretty quickly. Also doesn't boost up Life affinity, which can be pretty annoying if you don't play peaceful

    Dryads

    You can finally turn them off in the config. The mob control is functional, instead of the blank teaser it was for the longest time. I'm just glad I can turn off the mages, they made cursed earth spawners practically unusable

    Cleaner Thaumcraft Alchemy

    Phials are only good if you're using essentia in multiples of 8. Mana beans are great for any quantity, but it takes some time to farm up a decent stock (worth it though)

    AE Pattern Encoder question.

    Learn to love the shift-click "?", it's a great shortcut. Especially with the AE Crafting Terminal, I barely feel the need for autocrafting. If you mean the (arguably cheaty) encoding patterns without actually having the items in your inventory, that's from NEI Addons.

    Blood Magic question(s)

    I like to put my altar on it's own little sky island nearby, I have a hard time incorporating it inside my base since it gets so big. Makes the rituals less useful though, have to go afk on the island to charge up. I don't know what the exact range is, but it looks like a 10-15 block radius...

    Regarding natura redwood trees

    The platform may need to be a bit bigger (9x9-11x11) but it should work. They do take forever to grow though, like a minecraft week or more

    BC to RF power conversion?

    You can use the TE steam dynamos on a boiler. And TE conduits will only convert one-way, from RF to MJ, so you need TE dynamos to power anything else in the mod. Ender IO conduit is the only thing I've used that converts RF to MJ both ways (UE cable might, haven't tried it)

    Help with cheat mode?

    In the config file for NEI, there are options for "cheatmode" and "lockmode". Set both to 0 and cheats are disabled in-game. I wouldn't delete the mod though, being able to look up recipes is a basic necessity in modded MC. There are other mods that do it, but IMO they don't work as well

    Unleashed 1.1.3: Renewable Certus via Bees?

    One thing to consider is that if something's name gets changed (i.e. a bee got renamed or something), it gives a "false positive" ID conflict error. If you have both available, look at both versions of the config and see what changed.

    updating mods

    If you don't want to wait for the pack itself to update, you need to go download the updated mod yourself. Easy enough to do, but usually not necessary unless the update has big/important changes to the mod

    Morph Bats Question

    It may be easier to just disable abilities altogether if you're worried about things being OP, bats are far from the most OP part of Morph. Also, never morph while you're in any liquid. Ever.

    TE 3 Problem: Charcoal into dynamos or Steam into dynamos

    Not anymore. After the initial heat-up, they actually become less efficient the hotter they get (much less for HPs). LPs are actually better now if you have the space for them, 2 36LPs use quite a bit less fuel to run than 1 36HP

    Does Soul Shards have a new undocumented recipe?

    I use livestock for the bulk of the mob essence, and vanilla spawners to supplement it a bit. A breeding pen with 4 cows and 4 sheep, with a chronotyper to pull babies into a seperate slaughter pen with a grinder, will basically keep up with one MFR spawner as long as you don't run it on exact mode.

    Not really. Best you can do is put it somewhere that you spend a lot of time, under a work area or something. I've just switched to MFR, personally. It's easy enough to produce the mob essence to keep up with a spawner.

    Yeah, but only because of how frequent they are. If they were turned down to 10-20% of what they are now I'd be ok with them, I never liked that they were silent. It's even worse if you use Sphax though, they switched villagers to jawa voices. Which is great for the first few seconds, but...

    This. That crazy 12 heart arrow may one-shot a lot of things, but if you run into a mob in full Mek glowstone armor you may as well be punching him. A rapier will two-shot him and let you get back to what you were doing

    You shift-click the question mark to fill the crafting grid. The pattern encoder recipe without items is added by NEI Addons and works the same way (and is a bit cheaty, IMO)

    Depends on if you have Metallurgy & Extra TiC or not. Without those: I give picks a many head, paper binding, thaumium rod, and I prefer moss to electric since it has so much durability. Hammer gets many head, plates are 1 paper and 1 thaumium, many rod. Both get enough lapis for fortune 3...
