    The Nether Quartz is available from the beginning. There are Nether Quartz Stairs in Obs room. You can pulverize them to get Nether Quartz. Edit: And those stairs are in the Biosphere too.

    Well last time i tested the paper tough rod didnt add extra modifier, or i missed smt? actually, my bolt has those modifier from leveling up, dont know about manual way. And i'm still on 1.0.1

    You can use EnderIO fluid conduits. It's much better than BC pipes

    Enderium/Diamond blocks are good but so expensive at early game (in ME^4 you have a free pool of cryotheum at early game) Btw i've just filled my reactors by hand, took 15 mins of clicking =.=
