[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

In the most recent version, the map is not entirely set in stone and as I recall both the location and makeup of the cities is random. There is, however, one small static city not terribly far away from the base. I believe it's to the southwest ( I'm assuming the front door of the ship is on the...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

    1. Bone meal 2. City treasure chests With the PnC helmet, you can sit on a roof and look at chests from far away to see their contents. Makes finding rose red dye and those elusive yellow hearts much easier. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

A big part of what I love about this pack is that it's one of the few packs I've ever played that properly forces tech progression to follow one path, jiggers recipes around to prevent cross-mod exploits, and forced me to learn new mods to progress. I had played a few packs with PneumaticCraft...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I've played so many Crash Landing worlds at this point that it's ridiculous. I've gone out and dug into other modpacks from time to time, but this is the only one I keep coming back to for more replay. I dare say this is the greatest FTB modpack ever. If there were ever a legit remake for 1.7, I...

    [1.7.10] Flux Galaxy - A Space-Based MagiTech Modpack

More like "typical 1.7.10 biome generation." I don't think I've generated a single world yet in 1.7.10 that has much in the way of jungles or deserts. They are both pretty rare. Roofed forests, plains, and other kinds of forests tend to generate like they're going out of style. Jungles, on the...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

If you churned this out when you're "inexperienced", I shudder to think what you've got in store in the future if/when you recharge your batteries. 'Cuz this modpack is f'n amazing. If this truly is (more or less) the end for Crash Landing, you have nothing to be ashamed of. The ride has been epic.

    [1.7.10] Flux Galaxy - A Space-Based MagiTech Modpack

Transfer node cobble generator + world interaction upgrades (cheap) dumping into a few cyclic assemblers. Automatic and (in the grand scheme of things) fast quadruple compressed cobble for bedrockium.

    [1.7.10] Flux Galaxy - A Space-Based MagiTech Modpack

I can't imagine too many situations where you'd actually NEED more than the 256 buckets of fluid storage you can get in a single block (drum), so I'm not sure what benefit you'd get in spreading that out over a giant multiblock RC tank. Plus, there's always the bedrockium drum if you really...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

You can get either 320 or 640 rf/tick easily with a potions generator, depending on which potion you pick. Recipe for the generator is expensive, but it's stupid easy to automate with SFM and none of the potion ingredients require a city trip (minus one blaze rod for the brewing stand). Once...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Insert into controller (itemducts/hopper). Pull from drain with fluiduct into casting table/basin. Pull from table/basin with hopper/itemduct.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

MFR Liquicrafter fed with water from a drum, recipe of empty camel pack + 4 water bottles. PnC aerial interface set to pull an empty camel pack off your back, then put a full one back on you. This setup auto refills your empty camel pack within seconds. You'll never even know it's gone missing.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I have made exactly one city trip to get the stuff for the smeltery and haven't gone back. I'm almost completely through the PnC quests without any city raids. Not only am I not having any resource issues with PnC, but I'm practically drowning in iron. If you're having resource issues, it's not...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I'm not aware if anything in PnC that you have to go to a city to get. As far as I know everything can be crafted, so this really isn't that big of a deal.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Ground level was raised from like 64 to 74 in 1.1.3. Squid will not start to spawn in your water unless you put it below 64. Dig and make a water pool; you should start getting some squid before long.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

The auto spanner will use more essence than the grinder will give you back from killing the mobs it spawns. You really have only two choices: 1. Get another source of hostile mobs. Dark room, night + fans/conveyor belts + trench, whatever. Move those to your grinder as well to top off your...

    It's actually quite cold, surprisingly.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Downloaded 1.1.3 today and fired up a new world, after having already played 1.1.2 through to completion. Died to a creeper explosion immediately after the first night with no sync clone. Welcome back to Crash Landing!

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I recall reading something several pages back about possibly nerfing/eliminating the villagers who trade one emerald for a full stack of awesome food. I didn't notice anything about that on the faq, just curious if any changes were made there.
