Hey Golrith- I'm encountering the same error. I just enabled advanced settings in the launcher--- they are the defaults (haven't fiddled with them yet).
This is a fresh install from twitch.tv and I'll be trying to connect to an FTB Revaltions server I just turned up on BisectHosting.com.
