    ReactoCraft Interesting dual fusion setup

IIRC there are 2 methods checking it, and 1 of them is started from each individual toroid. I can't recall it ever mattering which was the first. ( Especially since it must be a loop. There is no "first" point in a circle after all. ) No specific limit, just the life of the plasma/total part...

    ReactoCraft Interesting dual fusion setup

Sorry for late responses, I don't come here much lately. It's also been awhile since I've done anything in Reikas mods, so I might have forgotten some specifics/etc. Each of the internal pieces ( the Injector block, and Toroid blocks ), have a direction built in, that points "forward" in the...

    ReactoCraft Interesting dual fusion setup

The fusion reactor is indeed capable of way more than most people think. It's modular, allowing quite a lot of variability. With some work, you can actually remove the second solenoid magnet, and make the reactor even bigger. You have to put some thought into it to prevent melting absorbers, as...

low fps on really good pc

Sounds like you're running the intel hd graphics, not your video card.

    New PC

The 8700k is only $350. Ryzen 2700x is $325. Adding the MB pricing actually flips this. ( Although, you can use an older AM4 chipset if you are ok with missing out on some of the features of the Zen+. ) Intel 300 series starts at just $55, while the AMD x470 starts at $130. ( Older and lower...

    New PC

How much is that computer/how much is your budget? If that thing isn't really cheap, I'd definitely stay away from it. The RAM and MB are also going to be dead ends. So, your next upgrade would just be a completely new PC again. Also, don't rule out building a PC so easily. The required...

    Problem Crash when launching

Lots of mods require a newer version of forge. Highest version I see is 2655.

    Problem Crash when launching

Need the full forge mod. Multiple mods had errors, and so the individual errors aren't in the crash report. Make sure you have removed client only mods from the server. Check for duplicates of mods. Make sure you have any required core/library mods. Also, do you have the correct Forge version...

    Problem Crash when launching

There's ALWAYS a limit:) It is I believe 16 times higher now. I'm sure you could still find mods that eat all of that up, but it'll be a lot rarer.

    Problem Crash when launching

It isn't an ID conflict ( 2 objects trying to use the same ID )...it's that there is an absolute maximum ID number, and something is trying to use an ID higher than that ( I think it's 0-4095, but you have an item trying to use 4096. Items are assigned their IDs dynamically now, so that would...

    Server not responding on startup

Is there more of a log? That one is missing a lot. Look for all logs created at the time you last launched. If there's a crash, there should be a crash report as well. What version of Project E? 1.2.0 had a pretty bad problem if you have forge version checker disabled, and has been fixed in...

doesnt run with any of the recent updated forges

I have Advanced Rocketry ( 1.4.0-80 ), Embers ( 0.230 ) and Roots ( 2-0.104 ) on Forge 2673, so you can probably add those back in if you want. It would definitely be nice if more mods had recommended/tested forge versions listed. I can understand why they don't have exact...

    Problem Crash when launching

"java.lang.RuntimeException: Invalid id 4096 - maximum id range exceeded." Your crash log tells you the problem:) Good news is there's a mod to massively increase this. I don't remember the exact name, but look around for something that extends IDs.

    RotaryCraft and 1.12

Second link I posted, a little ways down: "In theory, yes, given some conditions: I would retain full ownership and control over the mods; they would get credit as the porter, but would not have any authority (more than anyone else) over design direction or the like. The port was (as much as...

    RotaryCraft and 1.12

Yea, I probably worded that wrong. It is more that he has said that he does not currently foresee himself ever updating, and that it would require a drastic change. He does absolutely leave the possibility open, but so far as I'm aware, it has never gone further than that. As far as I'm aware...

    RotaryCraft and 1.12

Reika has been very clear many many times that he will absolutely not be updating beyond 1.7.10. He has given a few various reasons for it, but it all boils down to that he just does not want to. He is still (relatively) active on the 1.7.10 version though, mostly for Chromaticraft as the other...

    [ReactorCraft] ReC Mechanics Thread

You are correct on the charge: You only need 1,000. ( You can easily manage this with a few DC or steam engines. Torque/speed don't matter, just total power so you can remove any gear boxes. ) The next:0b is your problem. That is the check for a complete circle failing. One immediate issue with...

    [ReactorCraft] ReC Mechanics Thread

The main differences are what objects they affect, so that you have to build different parts for the different reactors. There's also some caveat points, like will it irradiate fluids. This is a combination of real world ( where there are fast and "thermal/slow" neutrons ), and gameplay (...

    [ReactorCraft] ReC Mechanics Thread

I have confirmed with Reika that this is NOT working as intended. The Injectors should not cause radiation. Also, he did indeed think you were talking about Reflectors, so Absorbers should still be 100%.

    [ReactorCraft] ReC Mechanics Thread

That's what I'm saying: You have the absorbers behind pipes, and you just blend that into the design, as you already had to do with the injectors. ( Well, if you hadn't already built yours. ) It's an essential part as the neutrons can come out of anywhere in the ring. Plasma completely ignores...
