[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

I'm without electricity at home right now, but you might try the "manual update" links in the original post on page 1. Hope that helps!

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

It's been a while since I downloaded it, but It ought to be listed under public packs, as it's not an official FTB pack.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Immersive Petroleum sounds neat - thanks for sharing!

[1.7.10] Regrowth - A WIP HQM pack - Now Listed!

If you search the thread, you'll find a number of discussions on the topic, most of which lately have to do with the Auto Assembler's need for a redstone signal pulse to keep it from malfunctioning. I managed most of my early-mid game using a few Super Crafting Frames (lava on demand!) - I...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

Regarding the Notes (boxed paperwall), if you place them in the world they will lose their name and simply become boxed paperwall. You can interact with the paperwall block in your inventory to rename it again - if you know what it was called originally, just give it the exact same name and the...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

P.s. I'm pumping water into the qds now directly from reservoirs, and it's counting towards progression. It is terribly slow (well, it's fast but the quest asks for 100billion buckets or something) so I'll try piping in next time I play. I'm on 1.1.3

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

I'm playing on 1.1.3 at the moment. It has a few minor bugs and quirks, but it's decent. I don't have sophisticated infrastructure (because I'm terrible at full automation), but I have beaten most of the non-endgame quests.

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

@Storkman101 @spiritofmc Quest "Red Matter" in Transmutation gives 1 HQM quest reward bag as a reward, plus says "Pick One" where the only option is Dark Matter. Either a second (and third etc.) choice is missing or the Dark Matter should be moved up into the "Rewards" area next to the reward...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

They're working on adding Metallurgy, but they haven't worked out how it'll fit in yet - hence it being completely removed this update. I've never used it before but did note that we'll need a starter seed of catalyst metals (base material) to play with. Once they figure out how we'll get these...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

@Trisscar I believe the mining laser is disabled, per earlier comments in this thread. I haven't verified in-game. I built farmlands surrounding the first bunker and grow carrots and potatoes for EMC, which was great early game but I'm looking for a non-laggy solution to take me to endgame...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

@SilverDk Opis works with modded minecraft as well. It allows you to monitor everything using computer resources in your game, and was incredibly useful before thermal expansion redid their ducts, as sometimes one duct might lag your game considerably if it malfunctioned. Sometimes you might...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

You might try opening your save MCedit and see if you can find what's causing errors and remove it. Most likely it's the last unique thing you placed prior to crashing, but if the game won't load I'm not sure if something like Opis will work or not. It's really helpful for reducing lag otherwise.

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

@Crazy-San I've also had a problem with pigmen spawning in my portal. I made an unspawnable half-slab area around the portal, but I think they're spawning on the two squares in the portal itself. I suppose some sort of fan setup might work to push them away from the entry, but...hmm. Best would...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

@spiritofmc Thank you for stating that better than I did. It's sometimes hard to give a solid answer when I don't get a chance to sit down in front of a computer at home for days at a stretch. These mines don't craft themselves!

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

Welcome back @Storkman101! The biggest issue seems to be a possible problem with a quest reward item that is a spawn egg, potentially a wither skeleton egg that doesn't spawn anything (per reports - I haven't verified it myself yet). I'm hoping to get some playtime this weekend and I may try...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

The custom npcs should respawn shortly. I've killed a few that weren't responding and in roughly a minute they popped back in and worked.

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

Zombie Pigmen shouldn't be aggressive unless you've attacked one nearby. Prior to attacking them for the first time, I highly recommend you create a safe area around the portal so you can return if you get overwhelmed. Failing that, they do seem to forget about you over time, so if they're...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

Hardcore Questing can do a Detection quest for "player has key?"; once detected, they could pass it to another player or throw it into lava and still "have had" the key in order to progress. I will admit that there is a particular challenge when designing an on-rails quest in a void sandbox...

[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

Regarding void loss of quest items, it might not be a bad idea to leave the key in as an obtainable item, but bts code it so there's a "key obtained?" flag to track progress and delete the key out of inventory as a nicety instead of a necessity. @Storkman101
