I wish I could help you. I'm having a pretty bad error with something (Possibly Java), and I can't even get my game to start.

If your FPS is sticking at a constant rate, (Ex. 60) Your Vsync is probably on, and or framerate is set to a limited amount. Also, allocate 4G's of ram, if you can.

A little more information wouldn't hurt.

^ I second that. Sometimes more RAM allocated is worse.

Have you tried force updating?
