I see the pack, I download it, it installs, minecraft starts to load, does the 5min of freezing and processing on the mojang screen, then instead of going to the main menu like usual, it closes, the process too, taking the console with it

Which mod contains the minimap? My computer is generally terrible, and the minimap is probably the single worst contributor to low fps

OK so I'm pretty sure to escape the challenge map I need a nether portal, so I collected blaze rods, made the lava fabricator, collected the obsidian, made the frame, and even maneuvered so that the blazes would light the portal, but to no effect. I cheated in a flint and steel, couldn't light...

So heads up, half the parts needed for the bone pick, sword, and axe can't be made out of bone, the quests are impossible

Go in feed first; if you go towards the arms and mouth it'll have a harder time getting at you, and it'll likely be dead if youre taking bites in between
