[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

@Gideonseymour Look at his user name. read back through the thread. The guy seems to come to this thread with the single intention of complaining about the FTB devs, Crashlanding Devs, or the map itself.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I dont feel actually building a new ship should be required, but I could see the gathering of such supplies as being part of the story. "Resources are needed to leave this planet". Remember these are 'end-game' quests. By the time a player gets to the endgame, they'll have access to (and/or...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

for endgame quests, I'd like to see some of the route AgSkies took with "make all the machines!" and "COLLECT CRAPTONS OF STUFF!". Resources for the Hoarding - Submit vast amounts of various items Never Go Hungry: requires large amounts of 10-15 'feast' type meals. This has the benefit of...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

You'd have to water the fields, above the water, place a glowstone block, above that place the item valve I can see the advantages of using bonemeal, but using an SFM-rapid-pulser, I see a large supply if it being drained quickly with large fields. So, sticking to chunk boundaries, You can fit a...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

There's a few draw backs with block gates: 1: You'd have to use an item that can't be placed, otherwise they destroy the crop 2: You have to have item valves not only to pick up the item the BlockGate spit out, but also any harvested crop

@SmokeLuvr1971 Instead of a harvester You can use Autonomous Activators(set to rightclick) to pick crops directly infront of them without the crop being destroyed. So you don't have to worry about seed handling. I have 2 autonmous activators for each of the following: Grape, Strawberry, Kiwi...

So I moved my reactor+turbines away from SFM, and am now using tesseracts to move water&steam around. Seems to be QUITE a bit of lag removed. (roughly 20fps gained)

IDK, I think it would be more amusing is if you had to lead the zombies onto the top of the barrels. Could see an animation clip of Steve just running over and stuffing the zombie in with a plunger or similar

In a "+" shape first so they all point inwards(gives a 5x5 area), then upwards. Though on this map, due to no caves and the such 1 layer of the "+" has been plenty for me To each their own. I personally don't like large mob traps. My goal when I created this was maintaining efficiency without...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

They do, but they also use far more energy per operation than the mob router. Generally I use multiple router setups and drop the mobs in a 5x5 w/ a single grinder. Along with that per each grinder you need 3 different connections(Power, Mob Essence, Items), where as the router needs a single...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

To add to the mob router, how I use it is a bit technical, but I think it's one of the more 'efficient' ways to use it in a mob trap: Create 3 platforms that are 5wide x 5long directly above each other. The middle platform having 2 blocks of air between it and the lowest platform, and 3 blocks...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

The mob router works as a one way door. It grabs mobs from infront of it, and moves the mobs to behind it. It requires power to function. It's reach is a 5x5 horizontal plane, and can reach mobs 2 blocks below its y-coord, and 1 block above.

Yea, it seems that A.Interface+SFM+bottles causes a bunch of headaches. Sort of makes me sad that I don't see MFR's LiquiCrafter getting more love. It doesn't require bottles/buckets to craft with liquids. Instead you just pump the liquid(s) straight into it, setup a one-time template, and it...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I'd say I'm late mid-game, early endgame. as far as resources and automation is concerned. Just looking for ideas of what to do now that I'm here.

Nether stars are fairly easy once you catch a vanilla skeleton(SpecialMobs.cfg needs altered to allow for such). I thought about this, but what would be the point. Im already generating EXCESSIVE amounts of power via turbines. 'super mob trap': This is quite easy as well. Mob routers, clearing...
