Check and see if java.exe, javaw.exe and javaws.exe are in the Windows/SysWOW64 folder... it seems Java 8 does some screwy stuff on install.
I ended up having to add "C:\Java\jdk_1.7.64\bin" to my PATH in order to get this to go away. Also, making sure that java is set correctly in your server...
