The font just looks tiny to me, especially the minimap coordinates. I can't read them at all. I've just not used optifine...I can deal with the default water and lava, as long as I can read things on the screen. Aside: Updated my pack and the new marble brick looks FANTASTIC.

The only thing you'll miss for not running optifine is the custom water and lava, and of course all the extra settings optifine has. All the HD block textures will still work, you just have to deal with vanilla water and lava. I have the flickering Xycraft blocks too; the best thing I've been...

I did that. It looks like this: It's telling me it's a zip even though the filename is .jar and the default opener is java. The exception was what I thought it was, "Could not find main class Sortex-Patcher_1.1.jar.zip."

I downloaded the patcher and had the same problem SneakyPete did. I changed it to open with java and I just get an exception; the window closes way too fast for me to see clearly, but I think it's a missing main class exception. Apparently it's saying the file is a .jar.zip, but when I unzip it...
