The update from 1.0.4 to the latest doesnt work. I tried it through the curse launcher, and now that its on the FTB launcher I tried it there too. For whatever reason it just hangs while updating my save. I looked at the log and it always hangs on the same step: [16:14:04] [Server thread/DEBUG]...

Has anyone successfully upgraded from 1.0.4 to the latest version on the curse launcher (1.0.6)? Whenever I try, it just hangs after warning me about missing block IDs.

Has anyone figured out how to claim the quest reward for the player interface quest? It says the quest is complete but clicking claim reward doesn't work.

Do you have autosave (f6) on? Autosave backs up your whole world including all the dimensions so you should be able to restore from a backup.

The new tinkers construct seems really buggy. I can't craft bows or crossbows (crashes the game), nor javelins or throwing knives (i put parts in but it refuses to craft).

@parcel31u I went into creative mode and tried all the different compact machines. They all seem to have the problem I mentioned above, no world gen occurs, you can't do anything except leave. I did this in a completely new world to rule out the possibility of the issue being caused by some...

Also, anyone got a compact machine to work? When I use the shrinking device I get teleported to another dimension, but no worldgen occurs. All I see is a lightblue background and I can't interact with anything.

Yes that recipe is exactly what I was trying. So I guess my next question is whether parcel set it up this way deliberately or if its a bug?

I am not sure I understand. When I click on the hardened machine frame in NEI, no recipe is displayed at all. Plus, I tried to craft it using the invar + electrum gear recipe here and it didn't work.

Anyone know how to make the hardened/reinforced/resonant machine frames? There is no recipe in NEI.
