Well, not directly, but you can make as many books as you like to an age. You just go to that age and make the link books wherever you want them to connect. Direwolf did this with the previous SMP series with New Digger.

That's the easiest option by far, the fact that it works cross-dimensionally gives it a huge advantage over other methods.

Set yourself up an ender chest on each end and and auto-sorting system with chunk loader on your new base location. Then it's a simple case of throwing the items in your ender chest and watching the sorter do it's work from your old base :) Ninja'd but yeah, it's the easiest!

To reverse the confusion - the redpower pump will fill a covered area with lava until it runs out of source blocks to pump or space to pump the lava in to. I used to use a single air block, block breaker and a timer to generate infinite obsidian via the redpower pump.

I really haven't messed with the mod but it appears to just be a renamed item. Just use the stake as you would have done the draft gear and it attachs the carriages together.

I can't confirm the problem is fixed as I can't find anything myself but they knew how to cause the issue, if they couldn't replicate it on the stream then it's fixed. Basically, the issue only applied to objects getting into your advanced machines that it couldn't process but with some of those...

Yeah but that doesn't apply in this case. Also, another thing I forgot about is that certain mod packs let you select the version on the launcher that you want to run. Simply select Edit Mod Pack with the mod pack selected that you want to run, go to Mod Pack Version and try different versions...

The packs mostly make sense, look at the sort of LPs either Dire or Mindcrack show off and you'll find each pack matches up to what you would expect. The only surprise for me was a lack of Advanced Machines in Dire's, I can only imagine that he will be using different mods in his SSP LP this...

Technically that doesn't change anything, but depending on how far the cable has to travel you either want to use a transformer to run it on copper or upgrade to glass fibre cables, gold is high energy loss if it goes over the blocks needed to lose energy.

Not sure as that seems to be far enough away and the bed wouldn't change the spawn point, basically if your bed were broken you'd go back to the same spawn point on the map. Have you been using turtles at all? Certain turtles can be created to chunkload so they can work when you're not there...
